Previous Lab Moving Clients
Microline Surgical
When this growing surgical instruments developer and manufacturer had to relocate to a larger space, timing was a big concern. Microline Surgical selected Olympia Office Movers because we proposed we could complete the task in just three days.
Prior to the relocation the President of Olympia Office Movers, Michael Gilmartin, personally acted as the project manager. He coordinated scheduling with all the department heads and handled all the space planning and labeling preparations.
For this project, Olympia did it all. Michael included substantial time to set up complete building protection for the move. We rigged valuable equipment that weighed about 5,000 lbs each, including grinders and cutters. The crew disconnected and reconnected all the computers and disposed and recycled excess metal and shredded paperwork. Olympia Office Movers even suited up to install the equipment in the clean labs.
The hard-working crew finished the job a full day early, which allowed Microline to finish the setup ahead of schedule and get everyone back to work on Monday.
Pall Life Sciences
For this biotechnology company, Olympia moved three of their locations into one facility. From office staff and scientists to lab equipment and manufacturing, our crew moved it all. This included moving sensitive lab equipment into clean labs and rigging presses, cutters, and bridgeports. We accomplished this project in 4 days with 28 crew members.
Charles River
Olympia moved over forty -80 and -20 Medical Lab Freezers from Worcester, MA to Shrewsbury, MA facilities and handled the disposal and recycling of all damaged or unwanted units. We custom wrapped each unit with antistatic wrap and pads for safe transport.
The organization between the client and the third-party vendors made this project a success. We held several pre-move meetings to ensure everyone was on the same page on move day. Olympia’s valuation coverage provided peace of mind in case of any damages during the transportation of all lab equipment. The client was extremely happy with our team and planning throughout the project.
Saturn Integrated Logistics
Olympia packed and prepped over 15 trailer loads of new medical equipment being transferred to a new lab out of state.·We packed all small lab equipment and glassware into boxes for safe transport and handled the disposal and recycling of damaged or unwanted items.
Olympia had two seasoned project managers onsite for the entire week of load outs. One was stationed at origin and another at the new destination. This gave Olympia full control of the project, made the client feel very comfortable throughout the entire move process, and ultimately made the project a success
